The Conservative Colonel Podcast story is a great weird one. Host and Founder Harrison Daws had an idea for a conservative podcast that covered Federal and Mississippi politics in 2021. Instead, Harrison focused on spreading conservative values on campus as Vice President of the Ole Miss Turning Point chapter and preserving Ole Miss traditions as President of the Colonel Reb Foundation. Then time simply passed till Jack Fairchilds restarted the Right Side Radio as a podcast on January 12, 2022. It was just what Harrison was looking for. The perfect balance of Mississippi Politics and National. Harrison listened to every episode he could. Realizing more and more that it was past time to get involved if he wanted to save the America our Founding Fathers made for us for future generations. Then the perfect opportunity happened. Senator Chris McDaniel announced his campaign for Lieutenant Governor of Mississippi. Harrison felt the call to action from a true conservative leader in Mr. McDaniel. Harrison had to stand up for his beloved state. While outside responsibilities kept him from doing a lot, Harrison looks very fondly of his time helping Mr. McDaniel. Sadly the Republican Party is not the party of conservatives, and the people of Mississippi were blinded by the lies of a fake conservative. After this turn of events, Harrison felt the call even more that he had to do his part. Feeling inspired by Chris and Jack, Harrison decided to join the fight in the podcast world, to tell the truth to conservatives about FAKE Republicans and Liberals. To stand up to TRUE conservative values, even if he gets hated for it by Republicans and Democrats. Originally being called the awful Mississippi Dog Podcast, lucky Jack stepped up. Jack called upon Harrison’s time with the Colonel Reb Foundation and came up with the name The Conservative Colonel Podcast. Then helping come up with our logo that will hopefully stand the test of time as a conservative logo. On November 14, 2023, The Conservative Colonel Podcast hit the airwaves. Now we are asking all REAL Conservatives National and Mississippians to join us in the fight. Let’s get back to the America that was the GREATEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD!!
